My background integrates institutional leadership with a personal arts practice. Earning a BFA as a non-traditional student solidified my commitment to the field after years of administrative and entrepreneurial work. This perspective allows me to bridge the gap between being a working artist and working in the arts.
Over the next decade, I served in various leadership capacities, ultimately as Executive Director of Sawtooth School for Visual Art. During the unprecedented challenges of 2020, I launched the 'Safe Reboot' of Sawtooth, a strategic initiative that allowed our community to safely return to their practice.
These experience reinforced my belief that art is a vital tool for collective resilience.
